Gondwana Rainforest Sanctuary (South Bank, Brisbane for World Expo 88)
Gondwana Rainforest Sanctuary was a major tourist attraction at World Expo 88. Located on South Bank, Brisbane, the large fully enclosed aviary structure covered approximately 5,000m2 and was sanctuary for many species of Australian birds, marsupials and reptiles. It included crocodile pools, artificial rock caves and tunnels, suspended walkways through tree tops, shops and cafes
